Catalysing magic is about nurturing, connecting and channelling the magic found in people, amplified through technology. In particular, their creative imagination, collective intelligence, and entrepreneurial spirit.
In business speak, I am Director of Innovation, Collaboration and Communication at a large Aussie corporation. My work catalyses a culture of collaboration and the exploration and business application of emerging technologies. I lead the award-winning corporate intranet and Enterprise 2.0 practices and am the founder of the company's innovation programme for employees. I frequently speak on the subjects of corporate innovation and culture transformation.
I produce monthly Social Media Learning Salons and the bi-annual AMPLIFY Innovation & Thought Leadership Festival. This event draws edge-thinkers and change agents from all over the world to Sydney. AMPLIFY provides an immersive learning experience for all of AMP’s 3500 leaders and employees, customers and partners, and a growing public audience. My goal is to grow AMPLIFY into the premier think-tank for the Asia Pacific Region. I'd love your help!
Previously, I lead the Public Affairs function of BHP Billiton’s Aluminium Division in South Africa where I won numerous international awards for social innovation. My corporate career started with Deloitte as an accountant.
